Shaun,

I've just signed up for a new Rocco on Saturday, only a 2.0 TDI GT but with DSG and extra toys. They gave me the loan of their black "R" demonstrator for the weekend to see if I liked the DSG box.

Fook me, it was bloody quick

Couldn't afford the "R" (or the fuel) so had to settle for a sootchucker again which should be here about May (they didn't say which May though).

Been looking at your mods and planning similar ones myself (you know that imitation is the best form of flattery). One quick question though. I've seen that you have added the rear cup holders to the back of the armrest, but is there the possibility of also adding the rear airvents as well ? I know it would involve both pieces of the air ducts, but coming from a 5 door car to a 3 door with fixed back windows, I though it might be nice for rear seat passengers to get a little fresh air ?

Hi, i have seen someone with rear air vents and i did consider it but nobody really goes in the back of mine so it would be a waste, i will have a look for the link as im not sure they were connected up TBH ?

Thats the only thing i can find, seems he had issues doing it too, TBH it was bad enough getting the cup holder in, god knows how hard it is with the trunking under there

Shaun, what is the paint colour for your dark wheels?  Just picked up the other halfs pepper white mini and she wants black wheels but I'm thinking the same colour as your wheels as I dont like the combo of black wheels and grey tyres when the tyre gel wears off

Shaun, am I right in thinking you painted the hubs while still on the car?

I've got a Savage caliper paint kit and wondered how easy it was  :happy2:

Yes whilst on the car, just get them clean and get a few little brushes to paint them and you will be fine  :happy2:, i also had a thin ended wire brush which helped on the clean up  :happy2:
