How do they ride compared with the OEM springs, in terms of comfort?

Ride imo is slightly more comfortable than stock as the springs seem to suit the damping rate better :happy2:

Hang on, is someone suggesting that these lowered springs are MORE comfortable than stock springs????
I desperately need to order some springs by tomorrow (my front two have snapped!) and I want to go slightly lower, but not at the expense of a decent ride. I did loads of research and found that H&R sport springs seem to be a bit harder riding than Eibach sportlines and the general concensus is that Eibach prolines don't actually lower at all.
I was about to order Eibach sportlines today, but does anyone know what the difference in comfort is between the AP's and eibach's?? There'd deffo be a pint in it for someone that can tell me that!

^^ In about a fortnight Garth I'd be able to tell you!
I'm based in Northants so if you're closeby, you could have a drive too but sounds like you need a set more urgently which might be a problem.
I'm of the same opinion as you - I want to drop it but only a bit and sacrificing ride comfort is simply a no go. Replacing the dampers also isn't an option for me at this stage.
Steve's feedback has encouraged me though so I'm going to gamble and the worst case scenario is I'll put the OEM springs back on within a week or so if the ride is crap. £160 quid as a gamble isn't toooo bad :happy2:
