Thanks mate... so long as it works and doesn't damage your headrest poles then it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Yeah as long as i dont tighten the bolts up too much its fine.

My Dad has a 993 and wants me to make something similar for that, but because it does not have a headrest like the golf im going to have to think up a different way to fix it in place.  :scared:
