....That's doubtless true and yet my 18" OZ Alleggerita's which only weigh 8kg have been ridden over some potholes etc which I haven't been able to avoid yet they remain undamaged.

Me either but accidents happen! I've seem many a smashed alloy oop in the north with all these poor roads, 8 out of 10 have been cheap aftermarket types which is what I really meant, the OZ and TD wheels are built to good standards (OEM) and with top quality MgSi materials so will cope better than other makes.
I've even seen copy BBS LM's with the centres pulled through and warped at a local tyre fitters place!

....It looks great in the pics. Greeners used to have a matt black vinyl'd Ed30 and I thought it looked awful (sorry, Nath!).
