Not sure if this counts but recently got my 18" Horseshoes re furbished to a gloss black with diamond cut finish which I've been saving up for a while now.  Apologies for the rubbish quality pics they were off my phone

Before - how they came with the car

Wow, the finish on those wheels is superb. I too would be interested to know where you got them done and how much you paid if you don't mind me asking.

Like a bronze gold...

Thumbs up from me. Not OTT but different enough. I think it'd work because the blue paintwork isn't a shouty colour in itself. I like it.

I'm toying with the idea of some kind of gold alloys (or my BBS refurbed in gold) on my red GTI. Should really concentrate on things I actually need first!

Best thing to do if you can is go and see some wheels in the flesh that have been refurbed by a company you might use. Often you'll find things look a little different in a photo. Some of the better outfits will have a display of the different kinds of finishes they do on their premises.

It's a long time since I've had any wheels refurbished so I can't recommend anyone in particular; maybe someone can suggest somewhere decent.
