New MkV GTi owner - a few questions

Hi there, just picked up a '07 MkV GTi. A few questions:

I understand it is normal for it to sound a little diesel like at low revs?
I understand it is normal to even get a little vibration through the clutch pedal at low revs?

Also, it is fitted with aftermarket HIDs (standard lenses), I'm guessing these could possibly not be the best option - am I likely to be blinding other drivers - should I get them off asap?

My GTI is really loud on tick-over and yeah the clutch does vibrate at low revs mate. Normal I think.  :smiley:

The car sounds like a diesel when idle - completely normal. It should not sound or drive like one when driven "properly"!  :driver:
