Apparently with the bonnet shut, the sound should be less noticable inside the cabin

^^ Is one of the BSH's "plus points" that it gives increased power without sounding too racy?

I believe its along the same lines in terms of noise as the EVOMS kit. Afterall its the same exposed air filter setup.

For reference (if your after a quieter induction system) the quiter ones usually have the air-filter contained in a box somehow. Which insulates the "suction" noise.

Feedback from the US forums suggests it is quite a bit quieter than the EVOMS.  It is also touted as performing better than the EVOMS as well  :happy2:

This chaps done his research! :happy2: I have read the same thing. See http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?s=6630369a9bc3f29c585fc8253ec9e72a&t=77526&highlight=cai+shootout

If the group buy doesnt go ahead, I will be contacting a guy at BSH about sourcing a K04 unit myself.

Same here, it really does appear do be a good intake and BSH are known for making quality products.

I always research products to death before passing over my hard earned, t'is the best way

Ok, to help get this moving does anyone have or could help get some photo's for the BSH guys of the area where the end of the intake will connect?

Also if anyone has any pic's of the connections on the end of the Evoms intake for the K04 cars aswell would be a very big help?

Thanks,

SteveP

Sorry if I haven't quite understood, but is BSH going to offer a K03 version?

I think RR wanted to know, specifically, what tuning company...

Good point  :ashamed:

BSH have relationships with two different companies, I have suggested my preference and will confirm once I can.  :happy2:

(PS Robin its not Regal )

I still don't get your issue with Regal?
I'm sure you've said you've never even used them
