How to wet sand your headlights - A guide

Deffo gonna give this a go in the summer. My car is let down with some terrible swirls and scratches on the headlights. Hosepipe or airline has been dragged over them.

Great guide, and thanks for the tip on the Collinite 476 to seal. This is the crucial step I missed out when using the Megs 1 step kit. I'm gonna give this one more go and then seal this time :stupid: but if that doesn't work, I'll follow your guide.

Is there any particular sandpaper thats best? Not sure where to get it. Is boggo Halfords paper good enough? Also is it best to use some kind of block to wrap the sandpaper in for the sanding? Just want to make sure I do it right!
