Cat back exhaust question

Hi guys,

I'm considering getting a (resonated) cat back exhaust system for my mk5 GTI.

The question is, my car is completely standard will it run ok doing this change alone or will it cause any issues with fueling etc?

100% fine.  The cat back wont increase performance or change fueling etc.  Its only a noise increase you will get.

.......& if it's noise you want then non res is the way to go.Resonated is not as loud as the factory system.

Thanks for the info guys. I am going for the resonated version as I'd like a bit more noise but not LOUD  :happy2:

I've just recently fitted res to mine and I'd say normal driving it is slightly quieter than stock, but when you drive it a bit harder it is louder.
