Can 300bhp be reached with a standard GTI?
rich83:
Even with a mere 230bhp its sometimes a struggle to get the power down, 99% of the remapping malarkey is just willy waving!

Still think it's a shame VW didn't make a Haldex 2.0T like Audi did.

Ehh? Golf R?
vRS Carl:
Your all forgetting the Seat Leon K03s Supercar though. That "apparently" makes 307bhp and beats RS4's
In reality though Homer it is, as Top Cat says, nigh on impossible to get 300bhp from a K03. I had every conceivable mod on my car (except Nitrous or WMI) and i could not get anywhere near 300bhp. The most i have ever got is 270bhp. I know of one K03s car that got 285bhp and 350lb/ft. However the AFR looked like a print out of a lie detector test from Gaddafi. Subsequently that car was used to develop K03 Stage 2+ and that was toned down to a reliable 280bhp & 325lb/ft.
There is no way on this earth you could get that power from a standard intake. If you could then Bacillicus could make himself an absolute fortune by letting people in to his secret. As well as put CAI companies out of business on the 2.0TFSi :signLOL:
I wonder if he has WMI or a 25bhp Nitrous kit?
Sunglasses Ron:
Bacilius has a Twintake guys..
