19" Alloys - GT
« on: May 11, 2011, 02:15:30 pm »
Hi guys,

I am in the market for a new set of wheels for my MK5 Golf GT, I had set my heart on a set of 18" BBS Monza's but am very interested in the 19" VW Racing wheels which there are a set for sale at the moment.

My question is would I suffer any rubbing issues if I were to fit these along with a set of Eibach Sportline springs?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

i had some 19" BBs on mine and they were not too bad....when you hit a bump the tyres would rub.

lowered, would probably cause rubbing

think 18's are the way chap

I have 19x8.5 ET 45 wheels on my car. Lowered on coilovers, no rubbing whatsoever with 225/35/19 tyres but did rub with 235/35/19 tyres.  :happy2:
