GIAC Remap & REVO DSG Remap????

(1/3) > >>

chris s:
Is it possible to have my DSG remapped by REVO when my ECU has been mapped by GIAC???  I went to Star Performance for my GIAC map, but that's 120m away, and just found a REVO dealer 6m away.... typical!!!

Poppa Dom:
Yes, not a problem at all. I'm Revo based with my ECU tuning and ran the GIAC DSG remap before the Revo Stage 2 map became availble, when I changed. No problems at all. With this considered the feel of Revo on Revo is better as the shift points on the DSG map are optimised for Revo tuning, am guessing that this is also case with GIAC. Products are not mutually exclusive though.

If you have a normal GTi i.e. not an ED30  you will want just the stage 1 map.

Agreed, even with an ED30 Stage2 is only aimed at cars with more significant hardware modifications; exhausts and  big turbos. There is a choice of  3200, 4000 or 4500rpm launch control and enhanced shift maps to suit vehicle set ups. Most people will be more than happy with Stage 1  :happy2:

4500rpm launch control jesus  :signLOL:
