Hello,

I'm French, sorry for my bad English.
I'm on board since few months and really enjoy this board.
Actually, I'm searching for informations about Cruise Control Fitting but do not find solution.

Few days ago, I put the new stalk on the car but doesn't work.

Some Details :
Car : Golf MKV Gti Edition 30
Year : 2008-03
Transmission : Manual.
Equipements : RNS510, Steering Wheel with Multifonction, no phone or bluetooh.
Cruise Stalk : 1k0 953 513G
Modul : 1K0 953 549 BP

Operations :

Work out & having the black & with wire on 13 pin, puting the new stalk and work up all the stuff.

Starting to code on VCDS but have some problems here.
In Steering Wheel (16) ; Codding (7) ; I do not have long codding.

Here are VCDS screens :

Codding :

I try to put 0003041 or 0003042 but the green light on board doesn't appear :'(
I don't have rear wiper anymore, so 0003041 seems to be right but VCDS gives my many errors on wipers and bad code for module :(

Now, many threads are talking about Engine Codding

--- Code: ---Factory fresh ECU's often come with cruise control de-activated. If this is the case, there will not be a letter "G" in the Component field of VAG-COM when connected to the Engine.

[01 - Engine]
[Login - 11]
Enter 11463 to activate cruise control
[Do It!]
--- End code ---

I do not have login 11 in Engine.
Maybe there is another number to change ?

Can someone help me please ?

Bests regards :)

Marc

Bonjour Eddie-NL and thanks for your answer :)

The steering controller coding 0002022 works yes but cruise control doesn't work. I do not have the green light.
I try to run the car few meters but it doesn't work too.

About engine coding, I do not have long codding here or Cruise Control Box.
Some other threads about ED30 cruise fitting says that Engine coding is not necessary.

I'll made some screens as soon as possible because I work out everything to see if something wrong but no.

Anyone having others informations please?
I think I'll be totaly crazy  :stupid: :star:

Bests thanks  :notworthy:

Eddie-NL:
If your car is an Edition 30 with a 2.0T FSi Engine
you need normal coding and not Coding II
Use normal coding and use Long Coding Helper

Yes off course, Normal Codding.
I try many coding but not working :(

Maybe I have to enter 0003041 with some other values (workshop ...) ???
