If you plan to match the Eibach Pro with Bilstein HD (B6) or Bilstein Sport (B8) keep
in mind you have the choice between both Mk.V and Mk.VI versions of these.

- Mk.V B6/B8: stiffer
- Mk.VI B6/B8: ~ 20 % softer than Mk.V equivalents

B8 are just shortened B6 but have same valving.

I wonder why Bilstein changed the valving for the Mk.VI as weight and suspension
are the same as on the Mk.V, but fact is they did.

For lowering springs that are designed to work with stock length dampers you
don't need the shorter B8 dampers. Go with the stock length B6 as they provide
better traction on rough roads.

That's an interesting find. Where did you get that info?

Are the new 2012 kits available in Germany yet? They have changed the range for this year but the website isn't updated yet.

They now make a pro kit for the GTI where before it was just sportline B12 But their online catalogue doesn't show this yet

the bruce:
A friend has talked to Mr. Neuman from Neuspeed and told me.
Then I have emailed with Bilstein. A Euro Pro Kit for GTI is good news.

ps: I'd stil  go for Mk.V B6.

berg:
for me the b12 kit is up there as one of the best mods i have done, certainly best suspension mod and on a dat to day basis better than the lsd  :driver:

Fujiya:
