wheel and arch cleaning porn
parks:
gave the old girl a good seeing to..
with some megs APC, tardis, Wolfs brake buster, various brushes and my trusty nilfisk, no befores im afraid.
the 'carpet' came up really well!
then finished the wheels with some autoglym super resin polish.
then it rained :-(
surprising how much sh*te came out/off
stealthwolf:
Nicely done. How did you find the brake duster? It's something I've been toying with buying.
I have an underarch extension from autobrite for my nilfisk but TBH it's difficult to control and far better to take the wheels off.
Did you seal it up at all?
parks:
the duster is really good, i believe its ph neutral as well, so you can leave it on for as long as needed. then just jet it off.
taking the wheel off doesn't take too long, and allows great access to all the bits and pieces!
afraid no sealant, thats one thing i haven't got..... any suggestions?
big al:
is part of your wheel arch material missing? looks like there is a big hole in the back?
RENNTAG:
Thats the air duct to cool the front brakes.
Good work keeping it super clean. need to give inside my arches and wheels a good clean improbably carrying a lad of extra weight with all the dirt
