oil in breather pipes and other Q's
« on: June 04, 2011, 01:25:23 pm »
There is a fair bit of oil in the 'intake manifold gas outlet' pipe. What should i do? I dont want to go down the 'catch can' route. Im pretty sure you shouldnt have oil getting into the intake manifold?
Also there seems to be oil getting down the 'exhaust turbocharged gas outlet' pipe too, and i think tiny oil particals are getting blown back up towards the MAF sensor.?

Should i just do this modification.. http://www.golfmkv.net/blog/archives/23#

Also, it seems like the passenger side intercooler hose it pulling away from the intercooler itself. The standard clips fixing it in place dont seem to be up to the job. Is it just a matter of replacing these with jubilee clips?
