Upgraded to the mk7 PP front stoppers. DBA T2 rotors, DS2500 pads, Goodridge lines, Millers 300 plus fluid. They feel great. Can't find the bloody GTI stickered plastic covers (5G0698221) anywhere and VW doesn't seem to be selling them anymore unless you order the "complete" system, sad ****s.  :fighting:

9th MOT pass in a row, she's a good'n  :congrats:

10  :notworthy:

Two advisories

1) Rear tyres cracking -> Asy 6s on order
2) Suspension ball joint dust covers severely deteriorated, front lower, both sides - Apparently you can't just replace the covers, but been quoted £220 all in so not to expensive a job to get done
Black MkV Gti (Nov 2008), no modifications

After 6 years of ownership and sinking thousands into the car, it's now sold.

No more injector issues, roof liner starting to sag, clutch and fly wheel needing replacing soon and other things starting to go. As I've said for many years, these cars are no babies, there just cars and not worth shelling out thousands to keep them on the road. Mine was 18 years old and obviously when one 18yr old part goes, the rest if the car will start to go too.

Enjoyed driving it but time to move onto a suv.

Washed and sold.

See ya guys.

So today I found out what the annoying hissing noise was on my car . Turns out there is a spacer added on to the gfb dv valve took the spacer off and no more hissing happy days
