(having said that damaging the front aero tray on keanos drive had made MPG worse   :signLOL:)

Is it really that bad Mike? What's actually happened?

We're gonna chop that barstewards off next weekend

I should've been more careful mate.  I cant remember if I didnt notice it or assumed it would drop down (like on a hinge type thing)  Was a long day / night / day lol

On the drive from yours to M62 I was UBER conservative and the same driving normally returns 35- 36mpg uphill on my drive to work.  Was hovering around 29 - 30 Same on the 60mph drive to Rochdale to meet DaveB.  Wonder if it's because it's now flapping around under the car.

It could be your car is used to running on vpower race mike and now its on the cack 99 stuff!  :signLOL:  I know the car was loaded up on the way from germany to UK but how did the mpg go on that run?

Liking the look of the NQSBBK although the discs do look small!  How is the pedal feel? I fancy a set myself

what where you using for to keep the battery in place?

In addition, notice any starting issues? or battery running flat?

On the run from Germany quickly got to 35 - 36 the car was fully loaded so didnt mind / expect to see 39 - 40

Need to give the brakes time to bed in, slow speed braking feels good.  Think by the time I get back to Germany they'll  be feeling better.  Might have some fresh fluid flushed through.

I got us a bit of a discount with Linden batteries.  About £120  :happy2:

Using Heavy duty self adhesive velcro from Halfords  :happy2: Have added the plastic battery box too.  If it ever does move ( I doubt it will!) then the terminals will only have plastic to touch not metal.

No starting issues.  The car has had normal daily use and will be untill xmas.  When we get back to England and make use of the Lupo Ill get a trrickle charger incase

 :innocent:

So far nothing bad to report on the battery.  Brakes seem to be biting more after the drive to germany.

Deciding whether I can afford a 3" blueflame DP this month

Well the downpipe wont be going on untill xmas time.  The miltek will do. The blueflame DP will be getting wrapped in exhaust tape before fitting.

Eventually replacing the rest of the miltek system with Blueflame or custom 3"

Next thing is 4 coilpacks & alignment in next few weeks.

What will the next savings pot be for....

Carbon bonnet,
Diff,
Or Revo

Im thinking that is my order of preference actually.

Only 2 exterior styling mods I can think of are;

1.  gloss black rear valance, where rear plate goes.
2. OEM tailgate spoiler

Cant decide on red or gloss black on the spoiler though...

This is the spoiler...

Hmm. Toughy...

I'd say red if it's an extension of an already red spoiler. What do you think?

EDIT: Unless you have the top of your original spoiler painted black...
