Alex is proving to be a good choice for looking after the car / tuning

He was being very helpful at BDM trying to show me things to consider on my car, things that are good & things that could be improved and things to keep an eye on.

Whilst Alex was trying to advise me I was ejected abruptly from BDM workshop by the boss for 'safety' reasons, despite rich girlies with a Ferrari & range rover been allowed to mellinger... Anyway, I digress

The impression I got whilst at BDM was he pays a lot of attention to detail and it seems to be showing now as I get frequent updates by phone / text as to where he is on the job & any findings or causes for concern.

Alex has my box off atm and is in the process of fitting the diff, then a replacement / upgrade dogbone mount, arches fettled, dreadful BDM 'fast road setup' sorted an setup properly and if I receive it in time Design draft 42 shifter bushing fitted

Then handed over to APR to tweak the map to see if they can fix the dip in the power curve

She's getting there!

Might see you mate when I collect her.  :happy2:

Trying the superpro inserts rather than the Walk.  Will sell the walk & modify some oem consoles to have my subframe pulled back a little rather than butcher the walk.  Also having a new dogbone mount as mine is perishing

Firemen should stick to doing what they are good at, putting out fires and being brilliant at helping others out in times of need.

They should leave the setting of car suspension up, to which Alex is brilliant at, to the likes of Alex.

Yes, Mark seems to want to concentrate on Lambo's and Ferrari's, but he is on the fast track to doom as he is a prize.................................?!

I am shocked he left your car like that mate and I think I would have contacted the CC company to get the payment reversed as the service was not fit for the purpose intended.

I am happy to travel the extra to Bedford rather than MK as, as Alex said, he has no time constraints to get the job done right. Whereas Mark wanted to charge for every little extra.

You will get charged but if it takes 5 mins more than stated to get it right then all is good.

My Exhaust was fitted by Alex@AKS and I had a service. He did other stuff for the same price, he didn't have to, I was going to do it while there, but he did. Top Fella. Highly recommended.
