....Ah yes, the carbonfibre bonnet you're not thinking of getting (Hurdy-style).

How well would the red vinyl wrap on the carbon bonnet you're not thinking of getting, match the red paintwork?

I suppose I would know if the local signwriter offered some samples up to my car.  Guessing there is a wide choice of colours

My point is that the closeness of the red colour match may (should) influence how much you wrap the carbon bonnet you're not thinking of getting.

I think it's safe to assume that no vinyl will match a gloss paint colour and it doesn't want to look like a badly faded paint.

I've forgotten, do you have a black roof?

Or, anyway, how about a black vinyl but exposing some carbon strips? That would avoid the red vinyl to red paint matching issue.

That does make sense but I've seen black roofs continued onto the bonnet (the middle bit that would be like a half oval shape) and really disliked it.

I have a black roof

Ah yes, I forgot about the rather unique Cupra body styling as I don't have one.

Your roof painted or vinyl'd black? - Am thinking of possibly doing mine.

Mine is painted.  I believe I was one of the 1st Leon's to have it done as everyone thought I was mad for not just using vinyl.

Although a little "done to death" I still like the look and reckon it would be a nice fresh addition to your Red, Red.

Clear coat with a red tinted lacquer....looks like mega glossy bare carbon but with a tinge of your chosen colour.

Not cheap mind!

The new veyron grand vitesse has a blue clearcoat over the weave.....looks amazing.
