Did you switch from APR to Revo....you mentioned you had plans to?

I doubt he would get any gains from it tbh so cost wise it makes no sense to splash out and get nothing from it.  Its already rapido anyway  :driver:

Would make sense on a long term maintenance basis though as Alex maintains his car

With all the special items fitted i would believe that REVO SW would be able to get a bit more out of the items as the APR is non adjustable, just my 2 pence  :happy2:

Esp as it may be the full blown race file  :P

His is more custom than others though iirc as they had to work on getting rid of his old flat spot.

Esp as it may be the full blown race file  :P

YOu have a hybrid though.  Race file on stock K04 turbo surely = BANG, otherwise wouldnt REVO would be using this file as they're Stage 2+ map for everyone.

Would be good to see though. (The comparison, not a blown engine)

Flat spot only showed up on RST's rollers rather than the road.

Race file was originally developed for the stock K04.  Just works will on my car due to the different cams and the hybrid.  Main stuff for the race file is the left foot braking, not torque cut between shifts and more aggressive boost and timing.  All safe, but not one for everyone as it needs careful setting up.

Seem to remember reading something about the S3 have slightly different exhaust cam?,  I would say that considering the BWJ and CDL enginesremap to pretty much the same output at all states of tune id say if it is different its only marginally so.

The K03BWA on the other hand is a much bigger difference

Cadwell Park yesterday  :driver:  Wish I had 4 not 3 Federals on the TDs!  Will have a full set soon.

Had a great evening.  Definitely getting tuition next time.  Was last minute & on a shoestring budget.

Did 79 dry miles and had a wicked evening

3rd track day this year (In my car).

I used my road tyres, Hankooks.  Felt a bit less confident to begin with as I knew I wouldn't have the grip of the semis Ive used before.  But I probably learnt more about the car & grip on the road tyres.  The TDs are at AKS waiting till ive got the pennies to complete the set of Federal 595RSR.  :happy2:

Car felt really good.  Was only set to 6F 5R on the B16s.  As usual got smoother as time went on but wish I had some spare cash for some tuition.

Want to do Snetterton, Donnington, Silverstone, Bedford & Anglesey. Oh and go back to Oulton!  Reckon I can squeeze 4 track days in next year.

Haha, Alex I reset trip2 when I got to Cadwell.  Was 77 or 79 Miles.  I reckon the full circuit is between 1.5 - 2 miles.

Ill probably have another federal sent down next month now.

Really happy with how the car handled.  Its really well setup by Alex and I'm really happy with the selection of chassis parts.  Really looking forward to growing into it.
I find myself maybe shaving a bit too much speed off for some corners but think when back up to the grip levels of semi slicks I'll be back to chucking it in.

I will probably try some sportier pads for the BBK next year.

I also want the TPMS that National do. See here

Want a Pole position or lightweight bucket for my side at least.
