Thanks very much! I think I'm one of the few original Cupra owners left :( most have moved on to different motors. Had this from new in Jan 08 still more to come :)

I've seen worse valves on the forum, but those definitely needed a clean  :sad1:

Did you have any lumpiness at idle or any other symptoms of dirty valves?

Not particularly. Not as noticeable as when injector 3 needed replacing anyway, that was a hiccup at idle every couple of minutes.

Hopefully be smoother now anyhow.

Having custom/ AKS enlarged TB pipe, inlet clean, Runner flap delete, map update and WMI so hoping for a nice improvement  :jumping:

Also having new rear brakes (Alloy hubs & 330mm conversion is in the pipeline but not yet), HEL rear lines, new brake fluid, New PCV, Cam follower, 2 lhary noticeable (but very annoying) dents pulled, replacement spigot rings for the TDs, Red Forge TB hose, N80 & associated gubbins removed and a grind of the front rotors.

I had a look at the alloy hub conversion but with the width and the offset of the Turinis it pushed the wheels out too far on the Leon, the only option I saw was to try and widen the rear arches.  :sad1:

What do you mean by grinding the front rotors?

Alex is smashing through the jobs and reports that the Inlet clean & TB pipe have made a lovely difference mid range  :driver:
