What air filter?

(1/3) > >>

golf nutter:
Standard GTi...should i just pop a panel filter in or is it actually worth going for CAI type?  Would like to improve the breathing and get some induction roar too .  i had a K&N 57i on a Honda CRX many, many years ago and to be honest it didn't feel or sound any different.

any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Weston:
Forge Twintake is the one I have. There's one for sale on here, £260. Obviously people will recommend whatever one they have. The ITG is highly regarded to and there's a group buy ongoing for these  :happy2:

MaverickFSI:
Panel filter wise, VWR do one at £96 inc. VAT and it claims reasonable performance returns for what it is. I'm going to try it on my Ed30 soon. However, I would imagine a lot of the chaps on here would recommend the CAI type and as above the twin intake by Forge. If you go down the CAI route have a look at the EVOMS set up, it's on the regal motorsport website I believe.

bacillus:
For a standard gti I would use an ITG panel filter...
