Finally have a real GTI
« on: July 23, 2013, 07:19:38 pm »
Some of you may remember my old 1.9tdi mk5 GTI replica:

I loved that car but the 105bhp and 5speed and basic interior killed it, so I had to go for a proper GTI naturally so I bought this:

It's a completely standard 2005 GTI in pretty much perfect condition, has full VW history etc and low miles aswell.

The reason I bought this one is because its an ex demonstrator so has a lot of dealer extras including:

Full heated leather interior and armrest

Sat nav etc
Reverse parking sensors
Sunroof
Xenons
18s
Auto lights/wipers etc
Cruise control
Electric folding wing mirrors
Puddle lights in mirrors

Plans for this:

Mk6 rear handle badge
Ed30 rear lights
Lower
18" BBS CH in anthracite or silver (undecided)
POWER

Anything people would recommend doing straight away?

Cheers buddy :)

Done a couple of things, the passenger wingmirror was smashed and it was a nightmare finding another electric folding mirror but finally sorted it :)

Also got a later 3d tailgate badge:

Before:

After:

And another quick pic with my mates r32:

Get a good map on there from a good tuner like R Tech and you will love it! Get a decent cat back exhaust aswell for the noise.
