If you were keen, you could have noted the revision versions of your PCV, coil packs and HPFP for future info purposes...

Any idea where they're located? Feel free to use my posted pic and draw arrows to where they'd be located.

If you look at the top of the HPFP, the last letter of the code will be the pump version e.g. H

For the PCV, you will need a small mirror as the version letter is at the underside of the circular bit and it would be the last letter. Mine is version C.

For the coil revision, you may have to remove a coil pack so unless you are confortable doing so, give it a miss.

Cool beans.  :happy2: I wondered what that flat circular thing was. Had no idea it was the PCV.

For the coil revision, you may have to remove a coil pack so unless you are confortable doing so, give it a miss.

Put it this way: is it harder than removing the engine cover? If not, post up how to do it and another pic of where I should be looking would be useful mate.  :happy2:

Be warned the coil packs can break if your not careful when removing it/them.

Amazing dude!  :happy2:

Would I have to look at all coil packs or just one for the revision no?

Normally all the coil packs should be the same version.

Awesome mate! I'll have another look when I get another chance. I paid £15 for a new air filter and I'm sure as hell gonna fit it.

Yeah that's the one I've been following. Except I thought the hardest part was lifting off the engine cover. The real hard part was trying to undo the clamp on the air intake. If I'd managed to get that off, I'd have been able to change the air filter.

Do you still have that god-awful clip on the air intake bit?

When I first read about air intakes, I didn't want to lose the engine cover because I thought it looked nice. Now I don't give f00k about it!

For the Carbonio he will have an easier clip that loosens and tightens like a screw  :happy2:

Done and dusted within 30 mins.

Still a complete pain in the arse though.
