MKV speaker sizes
« on: April 04, 2009, 04:14:53 pm »
I checked the search function but couldn't come up with anything. So as the title says what sizes speakers are currently fitted to the mkv, I could see that Very cherry has done an instal on his R32 and in one of the boxes there looked to the speaker holders like you used to get for the mk4 so do i need these and what do you guys recommend for fitting hertz, kenwood etc and any good online retailers?

I have Hertz 3 way component speakers up front, Hertz coax speakers in the rear and a 10" Hertz sub in the rear wheel arch. Sounds F***ing awesome!! :jumping:

Hi Energy range speakers all round. Below are the front and rears.

If you want the best output from any aftermarket speakers then you need the front speakers to be powered through an amp. Also I'd recommend going with an aftermarket head unit.
Golf R gone.
