Resurrecting an old thread I saw your car again twice today, morning and night. I was at Ben Cross dropping mine off this morning and popped in on my way home when your wife was picking your car up. Just a service?!

Also I see the Pirelli we discussed earlier in the thread is for sale at Mini now, havn't seen a price on it yet mind

Ah yes, service and a couple of other bits and bobs unfortunately, it had a leaking coolant hose and needed a cv boot. Good shout though on him thanks, done a good job and decent price.  :happy2:

Pirelli is £14XXX.Didnt get a close look as I sped past (20mph). Wont be sat there long :driver:
 Ive been using Ben Cross for 2 years and everything is spot on. Serviced my old GTI and now the girlfriends TDI
 without any problems.

No it probably won't be there long, I work at Lloyds over the road so saw it on the way home the other night but it never had a price on then.

Looks very nice mind, wonder if I qualify for discount working for Lloyds :driver: :grin:

Yeah when we got back to the car my girlfriend said "Thats a nice colour for a Golf", that's when I realised it was yours :laugh:

I did see the Graphite Blue MK5, think the lad is a mechanic at Benfield VW

How's the car going by the way?! Any mods/changes recently?!

Running well now after a few niggles ealier in the year, most sorted on warranty and also managed to get the cam belt and water pump changed after a bit of negotiations with Lloyds for a very reasonable £160.

Our baby arrived last month so other than the car seat and a whole load of mess there's been no additons, hoping to get the wheels refurbed later on in the year, my Mother in law lives just outside Gillingham so hopefully going to see Lepsons who come highly recommended on here when we have a trip down there.
