I meant if one was to cut down the GTI arms that they would need rethreading further down to allow the TT rod end to fit.

But I appreciate that to do the job 'properly' requires the proper TT ties and rod ends. I just thought that money could be saved (for those with the appropriate tools/skills) to cut down and rethread their existing long GTI tie bars to accept TT rod ends.

Are the GTI rods and ends ok for the TT bones and ball joints on max neg camb - on their own (forgetting about the hubs)!?

It all depends on how low you are running as well.  On springs you can run full adjustment on the wishbones and get around -2 degs camber, but on coilovers with no adjustment the camber is around -2.5 degs. The GTi rod ends are ok at that, but I've not tried them with any more camber.  I will do some tests when I change the hubs.

The GTi tie arm unfortunately isn't 16mm all the way and steps up to a larger size iirc.  I will take a look at this too.
