Alright chaps,

Just a quick one. I was thinking of buying this for the Ed30, http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=14218&xSec=8944, as I don't want to spend a fortune and on face value it looks ok. I know it won't be as effective as say a CAI kit but there around the 250+ mark and didn't want to spend that much.

I'm lead to believe that in order to fit this particular kit removal for the engine cover indefinitely is required. Is there any way you can retain the engine cover and still fit an aftermarket induction kit? If so, is there a guide on how to 'butcher' the cover to fit.

Many thanks.
