Does mine not count as stage 1 then?!?!?  :P

Gareth I'm gonna class yours as Stage 1.5 with that intake  :P

Good figures BTW  :happy2: I want an intake now!!

In fairness to you, the pre cat removal has made a decent difference. Last time at JKM, a Revo Stg 1 made 236bhp, mine made 237bhp (on a stg 1 viezu map), and yours has run 241bhp - so i'd agree with your estimates of 5bhp extra from removing the pre cat.

Deffo need to get the hammer out now  :happy2:

R-Tecs dyno must over read torque a fair bit.  Thats 40lbft lower than you made up there isnt it?

Yes Sy is a bit lower, but I'm guessing any other dyno will over read against JKM's.

I'm pleased with how smooth the power & torque are, AFR is a bit up & down but it drives nicely so can't moan  :driver:

The AFR is down to you still running the BTS lambda maps for component protection, I keep them in play for all TFSI maps with the CAT still in play, there are there for a reason I compromise on power to protect the engines hardware.  Just by going from 11.7:1 to 12.4:1 will give around 5-6hp on its own merits.  Get main CAT removed and you can run 13.1-12.4:1 across the board and more load request.  :driver:

Thanks Nick  :congrats:

A sports cat / down pipe is on the cards for 2012 - once the cam belt & water pump are replaced  :sad1:

Keith@APR:
Hello Everyone!

It was great meeting some of you at JKM.  Thanks for a good time.

It really seems like you guys and gals have a great group of enthusiasts going.

I apologize if I wasn't as talkative as usual for those that know me, it was cold, so cold for this Florida boy, and I was a little disappointed by JKM's heartbreaker of a dyno.

I look forward to the next meet and hope to get see more of you guys.

Go APR!

Janner_Sy:
We always say, if you make good figures on JKMs rollers then you have a very good car.

Steves looked ALOT stronger throughout the entire rev range than all the K04s i have seen on there.

My car was 180hp standard.  Steves makes that at 3300rpm lol
