Well I see Shark and PDT seems to be one of the most common around over there in the UK.

However, the nice thing with the APR tune, you get to try before you buy. Just go in and ask them for the 6hr test file.
You get to see if you like it. If not then go with someone else's tune?

But the APR, does give you multiple MAP switching, Standard, Stage 1 etc (95 or 98 Octane), Valet mode, even a Lockout function.
You can even get a full Disable so people can't steal the car unless they bring a tow truck along.

I might be pushing the APR myself. However, I have run APR now for almost 2 years. Had all there stages within reason, short of turbo replacements etc.

I think your tarnishing custom code and JBS with the same brush here.

Here's some info for you.

My very good friend was the very first 1.8T to get the JBS04.
The claim was 300bhp from a hybrid K04 on a K03 manifold setup.

Short of the long was that JBS pushed this too far with claims which couldn't be substantiated.
Truth of the matter was that JBS used this car as development without the customer knowing. There was no proven kit.

Countless things went wrong and lots of trips back to JBS. Manifolds kept on coming loose. Issue's with power delivery, bent rods. The list goes on.
I helped log this car a lot and know that when it ran it ran really well although just not reliably.

We both came to the conclusion that they were very good for stage1 and 2 maps but anything else was a mine field.

We often would refer to JBS as James's B*** S***. It seemed to fit well.
He spent Jabba big turbo money in the end and lost a lot of money in the process

What I'm trying to say here is that it's very easy to read story's of this and that JBS did this and that, but at the end of the day their (custom code) side of the business was in fact very good.

We both agreed that it would definitely be considered for it's OEM power delivery.
