Ill be honest, I couldn't stand the noise of either, I am old(er)!

If the noise isn't an issue go for the ITG without a shadow of doubt my car had issues with the Forge and just would not adapt.

The ITG was so brutal though with Stage 2+ I had to take it off, that and the noise.

I have a Pipercross panel now and yes power drops but its much nicer to drive.

Also I found the engine can get quite dirty with no cover.

The Gruppe B looks nice though and don't forget about the BSH truseal(?)

I am considering getting hold of an engine cover and seeing if I can make it flow a bit better at work, I have access to a machine shop, without all the whooshing but with the chattering, I love that.

do forget about the BSH true seal. it does the job and looks nice and OEM but it has fitting issues with Euro spec cars and their customer service is horrible. the only reason mine is still on my car is because it's hassle taking it off again.

if you want cheap and cheerful but quite good quality go for a Neuspeed P-Flo.

Thanks for the replies chaps, some good points/advice there.

So regarding the TT-S engine cover, does it offer up straight onto the existing locators?

What's this BSH true seal you speak of? Never heard of it?

What do you guys think of this - http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=8047&xSec=10924 - Any good?

Thanks again.

I was given one and took it off because it was embarassing.

Really, in what sense? Was it a bit too noisey?

So the proper diverter valve is the way to go then?

Janner_Sy:
Sounds like the airbrake releasing on a lorry
