I think Vettel's in a no win situation really..so to speak.

He's winning the races (and personally think he might win every race till season end) but he's driving a Newey car and there's always the debate on the ultimate skill level of drivers in Newey cars.
I think history goes against Seb somewhat here. In the late 90's everyone really rated how quick Hakkinen was and he won 'just' two championships in Newey's McLaren. Then prior to that the 97, 96, 93, & 92 winning drivers were all in Newey Wlliams'.
Accepting the only other multiple champ from that list of years was Prost. But seem to recall in the 90's the interest was could the Williams team beat Schumacher at Benetton/Ferrari.

I don't especially like Vettel per se. Just I think he's a top driver in an exceptional car and is vey much on top of his game.
As Brundle always puts it on the Sky coverage. Mark Webber is a fantastic racing driver. But compare his record in the same car against Sebastian Vettel especially the last couple of years. Not sure Webber will win a race in 2013. Would like to see it. But not sure he will.
So for Vettel to do 4 championships in a row shows he's really very good.

Hope 2014 regs help the racing a bit. Cause it's a one horse race at the minute.

Anyway we know who's the fastest in the Top Gear Suzuki Liana...Hamilton.

....Spot on!  :happy2:

You can't please all of the people all of the time and I expect that Seb Vettel knows he has his 'haters' and isn't too fussed about them. He is a championship winner and that is an indisputable fact and he also has lots of fans. He is likely to deservedly win his fourth championship whether we like it or not but it's not over yet.

And Webber is next, beating Vettel by a second. Makes you wonder whether his car really is identical to his team mate's...??

Least Grosjean kept the Red Bulls a bit more honest today.
Good win for Vettel. Gotta hand it to the lad. Making the two stop strategy work to beat his team mate. After both Bulls started lousy.
Like the way they say it's not quite over...mathmatically.
But hey Alonso would have to win every race..which I cannot see happening in 2013.
So Vettel 4 time champ in a fortnight..my prediction.!!!!

Yeah good race. I think vettel did well too, looking after his tyres shows he's matured as a driver. Groesean did well, just the red bulls are too quick. Gutted for webber not to get the win tho. But yeah, your prediction sounds about right IMO

Think the title might be wrapped up this weekend..

Still think Vettel will win all the remaining races given his recent form/dominance.

But hey come on Lewis..

If Vettel wins in India he also wins the 2013 championship. Even if Alonso wins, Vettel only has to finish 5th to win his 4th championship.

Vettel quickest in both practice 1 & 2 today...ho hum.

Brundle mentioned on the Sky coverage that in the only two Indian Grand Prix run so far. No one bar Seb has even led a lap !!!

We can only hope he has to fight for the win this Sunday morning.

Well, whether you like or dislike Seb Vettel, no-one can justify saying he doesn't deserve to win the championship if indeed that's what happens.

I'm a Ferrari team fan but I now hope Seb wins just to spite the haters.

Absolutely mate. He will have deserved it. He's thrashed Webber points tally the last three seasons (11-13) in the same car.
Obviously Mark was closer in 2010. When Alonso really should have won it perhaps..but didn't.
Cause Vettel was winning the final race while FA was stuck behind Petrov.
I hope as a fan of racing the 2014 regs shake up the race results a bit. But how long has Newey been designing the 2014 Red Bull?
And really hope my team Williams (which is my surname) move up the grid.
Not if wheelnuts keep falling off like today they won't.

He's not been at the last couple races because of their 2014 development work

Car number 1 on pole position for the Indian Grand Prix.

Using my 'spidey senses' I predict the German National anthem playing again tomorrow.. about mid morning.

Grosjean's got no chance of punting him off from 17 place on the grid..
