Was a bit tired to post last night (mrs giving me grief about bringing the laptop to bed) :fighting2:
So looking forward to Sunday.
The car was very tight and the chap only lived about 2 miles from the dealership, passed it on my way to his house.
The interior is superb, doesn't show the mileage at all - from what he'd said I expected bad bolster wear on the drivers seat but not at all.
It felt significantly quicker than the standard Gti but he says it's definitely standard in the engine department, must be a beast once mapped :evilgrin:
What kind of power do these things rolling road at standard?, are VW being conservative stating 230Bhp
It's such a nice car and it feels very special to drive, a step up again :driver:

On an accurate Rolling road :fighting: (:laugh:), expect what the manufacture states 227+/- 10%. Mine, apart from one instance, got at best 236bhp.There is a big difference in mid range grunt between GTi and ed30.Biggest difference is at high rpm that the power doesnt tend to die away like the smaller k03 GTi tended to.
