Bloody Hell!

So, i got a letter from virgin insurance saying... and i quote!

"....bla bla... we regret to infrom you the due to not recieving your certificat of no claims.. bal bla bla... We have no option but to cancel your policy... bla bla bla.."


So i took a new one out with tesco.. and they got the deposit etc.. and all sorted i thought.

So today.. i get an email from my bank, And as it turn out.. Virgin Insurance has gone and taken another payment! How F***ing raging im i now! :fighting: :angry015: What can i do about this?

This is more of a rant! But help appreciated!

Nightmare mate. The first thing I do now is cancel my D/D at the bank straight away.

I got stung a while back when I was paying 2 energy companies for supplying my gas for a full year!! :angry015:

Got my money back tho. I'm sure a quick phone call should sort it! :happy2:

have they gotten around to actually terminating your insurance yet though have you had confirmation? if not then and your policy is active with them they can take the payment, whats more you will get in trouble if they have as you cant run two policies on the same car.

guessing its just a sneaky automated request for funds so as said cancel the DD and speak to Virgin. if you have no policy they will return the cash else it's theft so in their interests.  :happy2:

If you cancelled your DD before they took it out, the bank can just claim it back almost immediatly!
But other than that Im not sure

As its a D/D you should call the bank and they should refund you immediatley and then they claim the money back
