I have a slight issue with the pads slightly dragging the disc and so they are heating up even when not really in use.

The only thing I havent done is bond the pads to the anti rattle shims.

HAs everyone else done this?

On my mk2 Golf with 996 front over 305x25 - (pads not bonded again) I had no probs...maybe the thinner disc?

I literally had smoke pouring off them even after a relatively tame drive. No fade tho!

Tfsi_Mike:

Will keep an eye out thanks Jim. My kit came with used oem Porsche pads with the dampers already stuck on.

Will be sure to make sure they're stuck next time too

Mine seem fine. I don't have shims in mine? Could be why they squeezing like a mother fu**ker sometimes!!  :surprised:

mvb12:
