HPI Check.. any discount codes??

Hi all,

Just finalising a deal on an Ed 30 and need to do some checks.
I had a Promo code for HPI check which seems to no longer work.
Anyone here have any codes?

In regards the checks I should do is there a thread on here that list the relevant checks prior to buying??
Such as MOT checks etc..

I dunno, but there should be. These sort of questions always get asked.

As regards a free HPI check there must be a member on here who can do it for you. There usually is on a motoring forum.

If you do the HPI check, then you can also get 7 days free insurance through Aviva.

 :driver:  you can go on       direct.gov.uk/motoring/mot          you will need full reg number and and the serial number off the top right hand corner of the log book . This will state mileage ,date,and any advisories .

Just remember that the HPI guarantee will not apply unless you do the check yourself prior to purchasing the vehicle, getting someone else on a trade account to do it will not protect you (just them if they purchase it). In addition the HPI check guarantee for a private sale only applies if you are purchasing from the current keeper as listed on the V5C.  :happy2:

Sorry for jumping in on the thread but anyone who can do them.... do any of you use hpi trade web? If so then any chance do you know the charges?

I used to use it but can't anymore so was thinking of getting a trade account with them as I used to use it enough for it to be worth it. I'm guessing it's a monthly fee for a certain amount of checks and then another amount per check after that initial amount. Am i right?
