1) I wonder if the engine still runs?
2) I wonder if said 3.0 V6 Supercharged engine will fit in a golf?

It's the 'B8 S4' you're after, search wise.

What do you mean by the grille reference fella?
Audi grilles aren't usually interchangeable across platforms.

Fairly sure that it won't fit a B8, but I've never personally tried.

Might be wrong, but for example 8P2 Audi A3 grilles didn't fit 8P3 A3 facelift models, and vice versa...
Therefore, I think Audi mix it up every facelift and model change.

Cars of the same platform and age sometimes can, but I think you're talking cross platform facelifts? That picture is a B8 facelift (or B8-2 as they probably call it on enthusiast sites or forums).

Get a reliable second opinion though for sure  :happy2:
