i used the standard adapter and ran a switched live from the fuse box took about 15 mins to do!only thing it doesnt have is a dimming when the lights are on feature which the canbus adapter will provide.
If you choose uprated speakers make sure the mids arnt too deep as there isnt much depth there.
Sub wise I can recommend the vibe active subs which take the hassle out of choosing an amp and save space. I have a 10" whic sounds awesome and you can plug the port for tighter sounds.

Cool thanks for the info buddy :happy2:  Had a look at your sub looks good I used to have the twin 12" vibe cbr's in my mk4 golf  along with infinity's all round Very Very LOUD  :jumpmove: :rolleye:
