I have cut down on labor costs because everything is done by me (almost every day after work for almost 4 years  :ashamed: ) ... but then when you see all the tools I bought to be able to do this  :laugh:
I don't know if I sad it earlier but I'm not a mechanic, I don't do other cars except mine. All the tools are bought jut for this project ... but its worth it  :driver:

Yesterday I welded the pipes (mig CO2) but them sanded the welds a bit and polished them. Its not the best job but its OK :D





and cut out a piece of the front bumper, so I can get more air to the IC :(

If you're not a mechanic then I don't know diddly about anything! Your project is truly the work of an artist - the so called 'technicians' at VW main dealers up and down the land would not know where to start with what you've achieved. You have created something truly unique and you're more of a mechanic ( I wouldn't put you in that bracket actually - more automotive engineer & wizard!) than most of us will ever be. Congratulations. Can't wait to see the finished article.
