The dealers probably advertise as Monza-style alloys, the "style" bit gets around the fact that they are reps. Alternatively just "alloy wheels", which they are. Just not OEM.


....It's a sad fact that most VW dealers (the employees in suits) won't spot a Monza replica anyway. Also they won't want to eat into their profit margin by replacing with genuine Monza's.

looks like everyone has clarified this for you but i spent months searching for 1 genuine monza, that 1 is def a replica! good luck...

Just need to
- check the inside for ET, etc.
- bargain him down to £20 a wheel :laugh:
- get a refurb

The edges don't look like they do on fakes to me. At least, not viewed at this distance.
