Initial Post............

The car is obviously Steel Grey
5 door
DSG
has 5.5k miles on the clock.
1 previous owner from new who chopped it in as his wife was expecting/just had twins.

The car has Satnav, phone prep, Dynaudio speaker upgrade, front and rear parking sensors (for the missis!  ) leather and even a rare option of a sunroof. I know this car is never going to be the lightest car, so an extra kg or two for a sunroof ain't going to matter too much. 19" talladega alloys (will get chopped for some 18's). The only extra's I would have liked was the ACC and cruise, but the former can be fixed with Bilstein's and the latter is an easy fix.  8)

I've already ordered a few bits.....

Airtec Intercooler on the current group buy on this forum.
New OEM hpfp and Autotech internals

The plan is to upgrade the car step by step until eventually i will have the new Loba L04XX turbo and supporting mods. My local tuner (Statllers) currently have a development one on their Edition 30 DSG and it is running 450+ bhp. I will be happy with a real 400bhp.

Here are a few pics from the dealer.

Cheers,

Yes, the WMI will be taken out of my Polo GTI, converted to a 4 point direct port injection system and fitted to the .:R I reckon I may need a bigger bottle though!

It's a good target.......for starters

I really want this car to be a do it all car, so I don't want to spoil it in any way as a daily, but at the same time improve performance and "subjectively" improve looks.

Don't forget to change your forum sig, John  :happy2:

Don't be disappointed about having a sunroof - Tipping up the back is great for ventilation and exhaust sound, as is running with a back seat down except when needed. If the weight really bothered you you could always replace it with a fixed plexiglass(?) or tinted perspex panel.

Cheers Robin.

The sunroof will stay as it is. I like them if the car comes with one, but personally wouldn't have added it to my options list if I'd bought one new.

I can regard it as an extra emergency escape hatch :signLOL:
