It's just a little daunting, but will update how I get on.
I was thinking of phases, to see what worked best. That and won't always have the spare time I'd like. So it's going to have to be trail and error for a little while  :happy2:

Hi there fella I know it sounds confusing and I'm a novice like yourself. I tried snow foam and claying for the first time this weekend. I practised on the wife's car just in case something went wrong.  This was what I did;
Power rinse
Quick wash 2BM
Rinse
Iron x mainly on wheels
Rinse
Clay
Rinse
Quick wash 2BM
Dry
SRP
Sealed wheels
Wax car and wheels
Dressed tyres

All in all took 4 hrs (I know what you mean about kids my daughter loves the pressure washer) but even the wife commented how good her car looked. It's a black 1 series and the paint was worse than my 05 gti. The way I look at it doing even a little bit at a time is better than nothing. Now just got do mine properly

HTH

Hey Andy,

Swift work in four hours  :happy2:
What did you use to dress tyres, plus at the moment I have swirls, I was thinking on black hole after Srp, then wax to fini.
Well that's what I'm trying time allowing. Also what do you use to seal the alloys?

I'll time myself, and over time, I may get quicker  :congrats:

Roll on Friday, and lots of new products to use.
How easy was it to clay bar? A little common sense and patience ?
Thanks

Wonderful. As a kid I washed my Dad's Polo this way. He used to give me a pound.

On my tyres I use Megs endurance tyre gel which is brilliant. To seal my wheels I use Super natural hybrib which can be used on the paint , but also makes for a fantastic wheel sealent.
As for the claying , make sure you keep the car well lubed , do one panel at a time and you'll get it done in no time. Remember if you drop the clay bin it and use a fresh piece  :happy2:

Good luck mate
