right mix for snow foam

(1/3) > >>

Andy:
i can never get the mixture right for the snow foam but i was advised today to put a inch of snow foam in the bottle and fill up with water

Trekmeister:
I dont know if I was doing something wrong but I used autoglym snow foam which is ready mixed, filled the bottle and blasted it on, got a good thick covering but wasn't impressed with what it removed. A blast of water from the pressure washer seemed to do a similar job. Cant remember the make of the attachment i have but it looks the same as yours and cost nearly £50.

stealthwolf:
You need to fiddle with the settings. I also found different snowfoams came out differently. Autobrite magifoam seems to foam the best.

That's what I've done from day one!
I've got the cherry foam and the mix is just right at 1"  :happy2:

Have you tried using hot water in the bottle too? Works great

Jaywoo-GTI:
I do the same as described but top up with warm water, and use the foam lance at MAX foam and leave it at that,
I have heard that running it through with some APC cleans the lance and makes it perform better if your having trouble.
