right mix for snow foam

<< < (2/3) > >>

stealthwolf:
If you're having trouble, it's usually because the gauze that creates the foam is caked up and needs cleaning. I wouldn't expect that in a brand or near new lance.

Horatio:
Pressure? Maybe unrelated, but I tried this with my dads Karcher 3.8 and the foam is magnificent! Bought a Nilfsk for 50£ at argos and the foam is considerably laking. Used same amount of SF as well  :sad1:

stealthwolf:
Less likely to be pressure in that case and more likely to be flow rate. TBH I used my lance with a karcher 2.02 (size of a small portable stereo!) and that produced a good foam.

Baz300:
I have the same snow foam lance as the picture above and a nilfisk £50 pressure washer too and get good foam

I was recommended meguiars hyper wash by polished bliss when I bough the lance
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/meguiars-hyper-wash-cat2.html

I put an inch in and top up with hot water and give it a good mix before using it

I have the regulator set very low

Frodo-anni:
1" of snow foam & 1" of megs hyper wash + hot water = Narnia  :P

Have mine set on full as if i dont i get sod all out of it, had it a few years now, so maybe an issue with it.
