It's not the cheapest mod in the world but I got some money back off my old wheel and airbag so it didn't cost too much. MK6 was the better route for me and a IMO a much nicer wheel.  I didn't have a mfsw to start with and finding a MK5 manual wheel with multi function at the time was difficult.  My quickest route was MK6 as they seemed to be more readily available. Don't regret it.  Had Eddy fit cruise as well at the same time as the wheel swap with a pair of new MK6 stalks :happy2:

Yeah I had cruise on mine already cause of my Apr software, but my mk5 wheels wasn't multifunctional either so like you said mk6 was the perfect option looks very nice good job. I'll have to look into the clocks on mine now!

I love the choice in mods mate!!!  :happy2:  i think almost all those are on my list to do!! im getting through them!!!.  I had to laugh while reading this threat!!! i think we all tell little white lies about mods done to our cars, i always get great deals at half the price!!!  ha ha!!! another thing thats works if the misses cant see any mods nothing been done!!!  :driver:

It's been a while since I updated this and I had thought I'd stop doing the mods.  I had about six months off the site but couldn't stay away   Excuse the lack of detailed explanations but I think the pictures speak for themselves.

New colour coded rear bumper added.  Bought from ready to fit panels on Ebay.  Really helpful guys and the red was a perfect match  :happy2:

Off with the old

On with the new.

Front splitter Vortex style, bought off Ebay, not perfect fit but pretty good.

Trial fit

Had to get it painted twice as the first time the colour match was awful

Post detail shot at Detail my Ride.

Third intake for the car  :stupid:

Autotech lower mount insert bought from Garage midnight.  No installed photos unfortunately. Definite increase in vibration but only really noticeable on cranking and less so on idle.  Engine moves a lot less now, ideal for when the milltek is installed.  :happy2:

Open fogs added.

Latest REV PCV added, cam follower changed and REV G recirc valve added.  I had the car at 40K miles and the camfollower change was around 90K.

Checkered sticker in centre badge, cheapest mod to date.

My plans were to get an Eddie but having gone too far down the tarting up route with this one I don't really want to start again.  I think I'd rather just get a CDL thrown in if the AXX ever gives up the ghost.  I'm at 95K at the moment and decided to get all the Stage 2+ ready.

S3 intercooler

Full Milltek TBE.  ED30 model with smaller back box so it isn't visible from the rear  :happy2:

Quick check just for peace of mind really to make sure my cam is the REV B just so I know an new HPFP won't eat it within a few miles.

Brand new fuel pump with Autotech inners bought off here.  Built it myself so fingers crossed

Also managed to get in VW Driver mag along with Lee on here :drinking:

Need to get the hardware on then decide between RTec and Revo.

With already running stage 1 Revo I can get the new hardware mapped for £50 or alternatively drive to Hinckley to see the fellas for £390. Really want RTEC to map it but its a major cost difference.
