Evening all...

Just thought I'd drop in and say Hi. Picked up my Mk5 DSG about 2 weeks ago. Two words - love it ..... even if during the test drive I picked up that it had a faulty Mechatronic unit - booked in for next week, just waiting for the parts  :happy2:

Hopefully once I get a bit more familiar with the car I'll be able to chip in with some useful comments - until then it'll be noob questions and probably the odd bit of irrelevant twaddle I'm afraid   :grin:

'57 DSG GTI alas now gone, but not forgotten....
Now motorway cruising in a 61 Mondeo Titanium X Sport 2.2 TDCi. 500+ miles to a tankful and bucketloads of torque :O Ok, it's not a GTI but it's fun... and that's what counts ;)

And if I could have found one at the right price, I would have loved to have got my hands on an Ed30 !! :grin:
