Hi all

finally pulled my finger out and got my tdi booked in for a remap with r-tech next week.

is there anything that i ought to do beforehand? was serviced only ~300 miles ago, all filters and oil

anything to watch out for after?

cheers  :happy2:

Nick will thoroughly check the car over first before mapping it as he won't run the risk of a car failing on the way home  :ashamed:

Just make sure your tyre pressures are right as this can effect the dyno reading. Make sure there's plenty of fuel in as it will use a little on the dyno.

That's about it really, enjoy the experience of watching your car getting thrashed on the dyno

Oh - and bring some biscuits for the lads  :happy2:

a blowout at 70mph means tyre pressures are regularly checked! lol.

Also check your intercooler pipe by the drivers side front wheel. They often start to leak so may be worth replacing it before getting it mapped  :happy2:
