R-Tech remap - anything to prepare beforehand or just drive in?

I went and paid a visit to R-Tech afew weeks back for a stage 1 after reading literally thousands of posts and i can honsetly say they are top top notch, my car is EPIC, the service i recieved was 2nd to none and the price was perfect, R-Tech FTW! My car is a beast now! Cant wait for stage 2!!

I'm yet to read a bad thing about them and I've been looking.did u tell them what u wanted or did u just let them loose on your car?

Handling mods are as good as any place to start.  An anti lift kit (WALK or Superpro) will help keep that power down, rear anti roll bar (sway bar) will make a world of difference (Autotech are very good), and some form of engine mount or mounts, I would personally suggest a lower engine mount ie Powerflex - cheap, SuperPro - a wee bit more and THS - the dogs dingles. All IMHO.

Thanks. I'll have a look at the CAI.  I honestly think I'll start on the handling side of things first.  I'll get a superpro anti lift kit.  I must be honest and say I'd rather get a front and rear anti roll bar.  I wouldn't like to have one and not the other.  I need to look into engine mounts.  This is new ground for me.

How do you thnk I will feel on the dyno....MkV Golf 1.9TDI Sport in DBP, 160,000 miles and climbing  lol     But saying that its always the low 45-55k early 140PD which I worry about most even with just 100mb of boot added I wait for them to pop a turbo on the dyno, two 140PDs failed on the dyno at stage1 since May 2009 and one crap early K03 hybrid.  :ashamed:
