apparently Mr Forrest decided to look over his shoulder to see where the dayglo yellow Evo 6 of James Nicholls was...missed the shift from 3rd to 4th TWICE...and lost it over the line!

The scooby team lost by 1 point to the MLR. Gutted.

But you're probably referring to Andy Gallagher in the Carbon Focus Cossie...that beat Keith Cowie in the pro drag compo!

Hehe.!

BINGO!! :happy2:

I'm not a fan The Focus, but that thing was properly stupendous. It was gobsmacking seeing that thing launch off the line
Golf R gone.

c'mon Hurdy you back yet?

I didn't bother going up after a mega tiring day yesterday.

Need to know if the Scooby lot kicked ass!  :happy2:

There was a surprise  though in the 4WD comp  :jumping:

Do you mean the handling competition John?

Ah right.
Noo, the 1/4 mile :happy2:

Ah right. I thought you meant the handling curcuit. As my mate won it for the second year running with the quickest time of the day. Not bad for a Evo 5 with 450bhp that is his main car and driven to and from the event. Plus he's not a tuner either, owes him about £15k..  :surprised:
He's the first one to go on this vid in the white 5..

Gavin Renshaw isn't it....he sure knows how to peddle his car round the handling circuit thats for sure! To beat Olly Clark in the Gobstopper with way more power and mega bucks WRC suspension set up is saying something.

Well done to him  :happy2:

That's the man.   Ive been out on the road with him in the car a few times and it's pretty  :jumping: to say the least..  Gav also seems to dominate the MLR Sprint series and has won that the last 3 years running. But yeah, quite an achievement to beat such competition.
It's gone back to NR Autosport now for a BT etc and around 550-600bhp so he compete in Time Attack. Should be interestiing..

I think I saw him do that run.....just under 40 seconds wasn't it? I was stood just by the right of the white car parked up at the start area.

well the AG Carbon Focus Cossie is no longer in tip top condition. Bit of an accident at Ford Fair Silverstone this weekend.

front strut tops haven't moved apparently  :surprised: just some superficial damage (its all carbon tho) and front end frame is mullered.

The engine has survivied tho!
